I graduated from the College of Charleston in May 2017 with dual degrees in Astrophysics and Physics after spending three and a half years in the Honors College.
Experience
I tutored physics and astronomy for two years through the Center of Student Learning at the College of Charleston. I subsequently tutored the same subjects independently. Before tutoring, I was a physics lab and astronomy lab teaching assistant for multiple teachers over three semesters. I assisted students with math, reports, and conceptual reasoning. I wrote several how-to guides for future physics and astronomy students that remain in the department today. In addition, I trained future teaching assistants, mentored younger classmates, and was enlisted by professors to help upper level classmates with advanced study.
